Ran Malwarebytes AND Avast scans, nothing found. Swapped RAM, tested HDD, ran CHKDSK and SFC /Scannow, NO errors.
Only restore point was when Google removed 'Google Backup and Sync'. However, the PC works PERFECTLY IN SAFE MODE! (But NOT in 'Clean Boot') Right click on a desktop Icon and choose 'Delete', nothing happens but a 'spinning' circle appears. Right click on Start, File Explorer opens (among other things), but NOT Task Manager. Mouse moves, programs WON'T open if a browser is open, it no longer responds, but. This was a normal running system, no new software installed.EXCEPT I allowed Google to install 'Google Drive for Desktop', problems started 3 days later, however. Boots ok, but after 5 minutes, starts to freeze up.partially!
